Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director, and supermodel. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as a performer. Her professional career started as a model for fashion in the year 1970 her rise quickly to prominence. Following her studies in acting Russo started her modeling career in Los Angeles. Rose also made MMA historical with her fight as she became the first woman to challenge for a champion title at any organization of note. Namajunas had a number of wins following the fight, and she was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
